Dear reader,

It is my pleasure to introduce the second edition of the periodical entitled (AJFEC) Armenian Journal of Forensic Expertise and Criminalistics’: It should be noted, that over the past three months from the date of publishing the first edition of the journal, the Editorial Board has managed to carry out a number of organizational procedures.: In particular, an electronic version of the first edition of the journal is currently available (http://www.journal.nbe.am), as well as the second edition of the journal contains the new version of the requirements for authors,, developed on the basis of current declarations and rules. :

  It is planned in 2020 after the release of the third edition of the journal, to start the procedure of including the periodical, AJFEC in the list of peer reviewed journals of the Republic of Armenia, realizing the fact that the authors have the right to have guarantees, that they publish their papers in the scientific publication registered in accordance with all rules:

It should be, emphasized that the second edition of the periodical AJFEC, includes the articles that were presented within the framework of the International Scientific-Practical Conference on ‘Current Problems of Forensic Expert Activities Contemporary Problems Trends and Prospects , Contemporary Problems, Trends and Prospects of Development of Criminalistics and , Forensic Expertise''dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the establishment , of SNPO, ‘National Bureau of Expertise’ , of NAS RA, however due to the limited volume of the first edition of the journal were not published in it.:

   Of particular note is the fact, that this periodical is considered as an open platform, which allows not only toexchange the results of scientific and practical works, modern methods applied in the forensic field,but also to identif, ways to improveforensic activities related, to the conduction ofspecial expert research, participation of specialists in procedural actions,, training of experts, etc..:
    I would like to mention that, nowadays an Editorial Board has been formed, which includes distinguished scientists from Armenia, , Portugal,  Ukraine and Russia. : However, I should note, that other scientists will also join the Editorial Boardwith the further development of the journalwhich will contribute to the improvement of the qualityof subsequent editions of the journal and expansion of the circle of involvement:
